Graduating in May 2020 meant no real ceremony and no opportunity for big celebrations! An achievement this huge needs to be celebrated! A year later, we finally got to go back to Tufts and take some senior photos. I taught G when she was in middle school and I am so insanely proud of all she has accomplished since then!
I know I am biased, but I have the world’s cutest nephews! How adorable are they!?! This summer we got to celebrate H’s baptism with a backyard family lunch and I caught a few moments on camera.
We managed to get this shoot in on the Tufts campus in between rainstorms. Sweet baby girl has now joined her brothers.
Although we were hoping to catch the golden hour, we still had a wonderful time exploring the part of the Charles River that runs through Watertown! I always enjoy catching up with this family and seeing how much the girls have grown. Their personalities are so fun to capture on camera!
Stepping in Heidy’s attic studio is a magical experience! It is full of fresh flower, paint, and so many gorgeous works of art- all by her! Being in her presence as she paints is such a gift! The rain held of the afternoon of the shoot and we treated to a bit of sun and a some cloud. We had a delightful time wandering the Boston Gardens and catching up after this long pandemic year. L, I am so excited for the adventures that await you in TN!
These dear friends and I explored Savin Hill Park for some maternity shots during the golden hour. R, we are so glad to you are here now!
My heart goes out to all the brides and grooms who have had to change their wedding plans in 2020. K and F had to simplify their wedding plans significantly and I was honored to be one of the few people that had the chance to witness this day in late summer 2020. Rain ruined their plan for an outdoor reception, so we danced in the rain and took as many photos photos as possible to share with friends and family celebrating from afar.
I have been taking photos for this wonderful family every fall since 2012. This year’s photos took place at their new beautiful home. Although it means we are no longer down the street neighbors, I am so glad you all found such a lovely new spot!
This family is quite dear to me! I love documenting these sweet, energetic boys and their wonderful parents. K is a former student of mine who graduated from college in the middle of COVID. I was excited to help her celebrate and commemorate this huge occasion in the midst of the chaos of this year!
This was my first photoshoot in the time of COVID. Although I was masked, it felt wonderfully normal to be back taking photos. it was great to catch up with this sweet family and take advantage of the gorgeous summer sunlight.

As the shoot started the sky became more and more gray and the wind picked up. We managed to get some sweet shots before getting completely soaked in a huge summer rain storm!
B and I headed out to the cabin deck to find the right place for a group photo. He is one of the world’s most photogenic kiddos and quickly because the cutest model for my light checks. We finished by taking a few brother and family photos. J has grown so much since his newborn photos (scroll back a few posts to find his shoot)! Thankful for the chance to do life with this crew.

Right before church one Sunday in late fall I took some family photos for this wonderful family. It was cold and windy, but the girls were such troopers!
This was my first shoot back after being sick for several months. The light and leaves were perfect! It had been several years since I photographed this family. I really enjoyed the chance to catch up and see how much the boys had grown and meet sweet S!

This is my 8th year shooting this wonderful family. A is great at choosing a new location each year! We have made our way around Cambridge, Somerville, and Boston through these late fall family shoots. My hope is that their love, joy, and personality shine through in these photos!
