I couldn't wait to meet this gorgeous little one and see her wonderful parents. Two months was way too long to have to wait! While Boston can't deliver anywhere near the scenery and outdoor fun of Utah, the people here love and miss you three so very much!
I always love taking these beautiful kiddos photos each summer when they are all together. We got lucky with the most lovely sunset light.
Spending time with this dear wonderful family is always a gift. We got a gorgeous day for some senior and family photos. B is headed off to my alma mater in the fall- Go Deacs!!
I also got a full tour of the coolest tree house ever. If you have ever dreamed of building a tree house, you should definitely consult L and B.
J's mom and I went to high school together and it's been a ton of fun to catch up on these yearly photos shoots. It's crazy how much J has grown in a year! He has developed some impressive soccer skills in this last year! Happy 2nd birthday, J!! ( a week late!)
One of my summer goals is to get caught up on blogging. This involves going all the way back to a shoot with a wonderful family right before Christmas. I had a ton a fun hanging out and getting some memorable Christmas card photos.
Lainey and I had been trying to schedule head shots for a while, but we were finally able to get a few while we were in Franconia. The log cabin made for a fun background. Lainey is your go to person on nutrition! Learn more about her amazing services here- http://www.laineyyounkinnutrition.com/
O's mom got in touch with me to schedule senior photos. We ended up scheduling the shoot for Thanksgiving break when O's siblings were in back in town. The shoot became a family event. I had a great time getting to know this family!
We had the most lovely weather for nearly all of November. And then the winter air came with a vengeance, just in time for this photoshoot. The girls were such great sports, even though there was a bitter wind! This is the 4th fall I have had the privilege of shooting this wonderful family. Thanks for a fun afternoon exploring North Point Park!
A quick visit to dear friends included a trip to Moab and Arches National Park. I had been there 3 years ago, but it was so hot that we didn't get to hike to any of the arches. The weather this time was perfect! Miss you guys so so much!
When Sam told me that he wanted to do his shoot in my backyard, I was a little nervous about what our late fall bamboo would look like as a background. A few photos in, I was really excited that Sam had had the vision to do the shoot here. Anyone else want to take advantage of our unique backdrop?
Sam is an incredibly talented musician. Check out his music out- https://samcookstuntz.bandcamp.com/ His next album will be out soon!
It only made sense to have some of L's senior photos on the football field. Although I often pass BC High, I had never seen the school's field. Even in the midst of some construction the football field is pretty awesome. Go Eagles!
I had so much fun on this October afternoon at Jamaica Pond with these dear friends! There was no shortage of laughter, which always makes for the best photos. Just as we started shooting the sun broke through the clouds and illuminated the gorgeous leaves. There is nothing like fall in New England (one of the zillion reasons you both should move back! Sorry, Jim, I couldn't resist :-)) I can't wait to celebrate with you all in July!
It was hard to choose my favorite photos for part 2. There was so much love, joy, and laughter to choose from! It was truly such a wonderfully joyous day. Congratulations, Andy and Emily!!
In August I had the privilege of shooting Andy and Emily's wedding. It was a gorgeous day full of so much joy and beauty! The love they have for each other and their family and friends shone through at every moment! Congratulations! A huge thanks to Laurie Boyce who was my second shooter on the day of the wedding.
We had delightful afternoon reliving some of my favorite fall memories from my childhood. After six cookies, a box of water, and a cheesecake brownie we were ready for our "long and strenuous" (according to Ben) paddle down the Concord river. From Sally Ann's to the Old North Bridge to the South Bridge Boat House to town center, Concord is so lovely in the fall!
missing this sweet family during A's birthday week. welcome to two, A! I can't believe that your momma and I were studying abroad in Florence 10 years ago this month! we been through some crazy adventures together!
I had a ton of fun photographing M's birthday celebration with the amazing people in her building. The food was spectacular and gorgeous! M, you did an incredible job grilling everything. Thanks for letting me join in the birthday festivities!
Wine, friends, and beautiful jewelry make for a wonderful evening! Lainey and Jen put together a beautiful Stella and Dot Fall Launch Party that was a ton of fun to photograph. If you are interested in any of these gorgeous pieces contact Lainey- http://www.stelladot.com/sites/laineyyounkin
Thanks for showing me around the Rose Kennedy Greenway! I hope the 2015 season is an amazing one!
