Senior Photos

O's mom got in touch with me to schedule senior photos. We ended up scheduling the shoot for Thanksgiving break when O's siblings were in back in town. The shoot became a family event. I had a great time getting to know this family!

The Last Remnants of Fall!

We had the most lovely weather for nearly all of November. And then the winter air came with a vengeance, just in time for this photoshoot. The girls were such great sports, even though there was a bitter wind! This is the 4th fall I have had the privilege of shooting this wonderful family. Thanks for a fun afternoon exploring North Point Park!

Utah

A quick visit to dear friends included a trip to Moab and Arches National Park. I had been there 3 years ago, but it was so hot that we didn't get to hike to any of the arches. The weather this time was perfect! Miss you guys so so much!

Backyard Bamboo

When Sam told me that he wanted to do his shoot in my backyard, I was a little nervous about what our late fall bamboo would look like as a background. A few photos in, I was really excited that Sam had had the vision to do the shoot here.  Anyone else want to take advantage of our unique backdrop?

Sam is an incredibly talented musician. Check out his music out-  https://samcookstuntz.bandcamp.com/  His next album will be out soon!

Senior Photos at BC High

It only made sense to have some of L's senior photos on the football field. Although I often pass BC High, I had never seen the school's field. Even in the midst of some construction the football field is pretty awesome. Go Eagles!

Jamaica Pond

I had so much fun on this October afternoon at Jamaica Pond with these dear friends! There was no shortage of laughter, which always makes for the best photos. Just as we started shooting the sun broke through the clouds and illuminated the gorgeous leaves. There is nothing like fall in New England (one of the zillion reasons you both should move back! Sorry, Jim, I couldn't resist :-)) I can't wait to celebrate with you all in July!

Part 1:Getting Ready

In August I had the privilege of shooting Andy and Emily's wedding. It was a gorgeous day full of so much joy and beauty! The love they have for each other and their family and friends shone through at every moment! Congratulations! A huge thanks to Laurie Boyce who was my second shooter on the day of the wedding.

A Fall Afternoon in Concord

We had delightful afternoon reliving some of my favorite fall memories from my childhood. After six cookies, a box of water, and a cheesecake brownie we were ready for our "long and strenuous" (according to Ben) paddle down the Concord river. From Sally Ann's to the Old North Bridge to the South Bridge Boat House to town center, Concord is so lovely in the fall!

tbt

missing this sweet family during A's birthday week. welcome to two, A! I can't believe that your momma and I were studying abroad in Florence 10 years ago this month!  we been through some crazy adventures together!

Backyard Birthday BBQ

I had a ton of fun photographing M's birthday celebration with the amazing people in her building. The food was spectacular and gorgeous! M, you did an incredible job grilling everything. Thanks for letting me join in the birthday festivities!

Stella and Dot

Wine, friends, and beautiful jewelry make for a wonderful evening! Lainey and Jen put together a beautiful Stella and Dot Fall Launch Party that was a ton of fun to photograph. If you are interested in any of these gorgeous pieces contact Lainey-  http://www.stelladot.com/sites/laineyyounkin

Senior Photos in Marblehead

I LOVED exploring Marblehead for A's senior pictures. Her mom, Denise, is a dear dear friend. I am so very thankful to have had her as an incredible source of encouragement, love, and joy for the past 8 years! Thank you for all the ways you make work brighter every day, Denise! You have raised such gorgeous (inside and out!) daughters!

J Turns One!

J and I went to high school together. I was excited when she emailed me about doing a session for little J's first birthday! It was great to catch up and meet her husband and beautiful son! Happy Birthday J!

Wedding Post Part 2

The end of the school year craziness meant that this post has been in the works for a long time. Finally... here are some of my favorites from the second half of day! What a gorgeous day! Congratulations again!!

Wedding Post Part 1

Just three weeks before there were huge mounds of snow covering much of Boston, but miraculously they all melted in time for this really special day. I had so much fun exploring the waterfront with K and R, meeting their wonderful families, and capturing all the love at the Grand Ten. It was a gorgeous day celebrating you two!  I could narrow the pictures down, so I am splitting up the wedding into two parts. It was an honor to photograph this beautiful wedding! Congratulations!
