Looking for a Nutritionist or Stylist?

Are you looking for an amazing nutritionist and/or stylist? Lainey is your girl! I find myself repeating her nutrition advice to friends often. Her instastories (@laineyyounkin) chronicle her nightly healthy and easy to prepare meals.   She is currently running a special on virtual nutrition counseling. Find more information here-http://www.laineyyounkinnutrition.com/.  Ninety percent of the jewelry I own is from Stella and Dot. Lainey would be happy to help you find some amazing pieces at affordable prices- https://www.stelladot.com/ts/0l6on .

I had trouble picking photos from our style shoot, so I included a bunch below. We had a fun afternoon highlighting the many facets of Lainey's businesses!

End of the Season Shoot

I'm a teacher and a photographer, so my free hours to update this blog are limited.  Christmas Break is the perfect time to catch up on 9 months of photo shoots! Here are some of my favorites.

We'll start with the H family.  This is our 6th year of family photos in November. (Check out how this sweet family has grown over the years here, here, and here.)  This year, our "fall" photo shoot felt a bit more wintery, but the girls were such great sports even on this very chilly day! I'm looking forward to year 7 :-)!

A Visit to Boston

I've worked with M before, and love how she is so thoughtful about planning and capturing special moments (see here). So when she told me her mom was in town for an extended visit, we both agreed a mother-daughter photo shoot was in order. We had a great time wandering and exploring the Boston Common, and the connection and sense of fun these two share was so evident.

Happy First Birthday!

It's been a year of Baby B!  This boy has grown so much before our eyes, and he has a large community of aunties and uncles to love and celebrate him this year (see here for a throwback). He's certainly the most adorable #squadbaby of all! It was a wonderful wild rumpus of a party!

Fall

One of the joys of being a photographer is that my work becomes a chance to connect with more and more friends and neighbors, as each client brings me into their extended family.  This family is no exception.  I met D and K while shooting D's sister's wedding, just a few short months before J's impending arrival was announced. It was great to spend part of a glorious fall afternoon with them running, playing, and highlighting Mr. J's personality.

Family Shoot

For many years, I got to teach alongside this other fun redhead, who introduced me to her hilarious brother and sister-in-law!  I'm so glad she did!  Although C has moved away (but is coming back soon - right?!), Q and A continue to hold down the Boston contingent of their family, adding O and now another new little one coming soon.  O has grown so much since the last time I saw him. It was fun to spend part of an afternoon with this fun family!

Congratulations

It's engagement season, and I am beyond excited for these two wonderful friends! When A introduced us to T last year, we knew pretty soon she was the one (and, obviously, he did too!) We laughed our way through the Boston Garden and Beacon Hill, and I know there will be a lot more laughter in the days and years to come. Congratulations, dear friends!

Senior Photos

M's  mom in a dear friend and the world's greatest school nurse. We took M's senior photos on a perfect day in August. Thanks for showing me all the best beaches in Marblehead! M, congrats on your college acceptances!!

Sweet C

On a beautiful spring day in April I got to take pictures of the beautiful sweet C. There were so many great ones that I had a hard time deciding which ones not to include!

Maternity Shoot

I was really excited to when L proposed we do this maternity shoot near where I grew up in Concord. It was wonderful to explore Minuteman National Park with these two. I can't wait to meet your new little one!

dear friend

I got to spend some time this summer with college roomie and her beautiful family. We had some fun capturing photos of her adorable boys. I wish Raleigh was a whole lot closer!
